3. Press any button on RCU-640 which you want to learn a new code from original remote control, (For
example, you choose  button) now LED starts to flashing and RCU-640 is under learning status.
4. Press the one button (for example,  button) from your TV original remote control. When POWER
button on RCU-640 flashes three times and stop, it means RCU-640 has accepted new code and now you
can start to learn another new code from original TV remote.
5. Repeat step 3 to 4 to learn another code from TV original remote control.
6. When you finish learning all buttons, press TV button to save all learnt from original TV remote codes.
NOTE: Only TV device have Learning Function. You can not learn any new code for DVD, AMP, and SAT.
NOTE: Total 13 or 30 buttons (depending on RCU revision) can be used for learning new codes.
NOTE: If you want to replace the code you have learnt into RCU-640, just learn a new code from original
TV remote control.
Display TV Code
You can call up the TV code which you have set in your new remote control as follows:
1. Press and hold down the TV button simultaneously press number button 1 to display the thousands of
the 4-digit code. Count how often the POWER button flashes. If the POWER button does not flash, the
number is ZERO.
2. Press and hold down the TV button simultaneously press number button 2 to display the hundreds of
the 4-digit code.
3. Press and hold down the TV button simultaneously press number button 3 to display the tens of the 4-
digit code.
4. Press and hold down the TV button simultaneously press number button 4 to display the ones of the 4-
digit code.
Example for code 0075:
1. Press TV and 1 LED flashes Zero times.
2. Press TV and 2 LED flashes Zero times.
3. Press TV and 3 LED flashes Seven times.
4. Press TV and 4

LED flashes Five times.
