The protection device circuit checks continuity in the high pressure switch.
When the high pressure switch is actuated
Actuating pressure:
Faulty high pressure switch
Disconnection in high pressure switch harness
Faulty connection of high pressure switch connector
Clogged hydro-box suction filter (in heating operation)
Dirty outdoor unit heat exchanger
Faulty outdoor unit fan
Refrigerant overcharge
Stop valve is left in closed
