LINEAR TIME COUNTER
Shows length of tape run in hours, minutes and
seconds.
When the camera/recorder is turned on, the lin¬
eartime counter appears in the viewfinder or LCD
monitor.
Load a cassette into the camera/recorder and per¬
form recording or playback; the counter indicates
the elapsed time. Press the COUNTER RESET
button on the remote control to reset the counter
to "0:00:00".
NOTE:
Counter changes to "0:00:00" when cas¬
sette is ejected.
REMAINING TAPE
The tape remaining display shows the remaining tape that can be used for recording and playback in
the viewfinder or LCD monitor using bars.
Insert a cassette into the camera/recorder;
" 1^51-" appears in the viewfinder or LCD
monitor. 10 seconds after recording or playback
is started, the remaining tape will be displayed.
The display will appear when a cassette is
loaded, and it will disappear when the cassette is
ejected.

NOTES:
• The maximum tape remaining is displayed by
the 7 bars as shown below regardless of the
recording time of the cassette being used. The
remaining tape per bar is different for different
cassettes.
• The tape remaining display appears 10 sec¬
onds after the tape starts to run.
• The "TAPE END" indication in the viewfinder
or LCD monitor starts flashing when there is
about three minutes recording time left on the
cassette.
