• Keep your work area well illuminated.
• Do not place or install any objects on the device.
• The device must not be used if it has been dropped, or if there are visible signs of damage.
• Always switch OFF the device before changing accessories.
• Do not switch ON the device until accessories have been fitted properly.
• Do not lean on the device.
• Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device, power cord or plug.
• Never use the device in damp conditions or humid rooms.
• Never insert objects in any of the device's openings.
• Always empty the dust container:
o before you clean or maintain the device;
o after you have used the device;
o before you store the device.
• Clean the device thoroughly after use.
• Ensure that the filter is placed back properly on the device after cleaning it.
• Do not use the device without a filter or with a poorly placed or damaged filter, this could damage the
device.
• Do not use the device to vacuum the following objects as these cause serious damage to the device and
filter system and make it unsafe to use:
o Glowing, smouldering or burning objects
o Glass splinters or other sharp objects
o Residues of cement, plaster, stone, soot or similar kinds of materials
o Toner (of laser printers or copiers)
o Liquids or moist dirt.
• Do not use to clean wet rugs and carpets.
• Do not use or store the device in an environment that is subject to strong static electricity or magnetic
fields.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive environments.
• Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
• Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or drops, even from a low height, can damage the
device.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.
• The device must be serviced if it has been damaged in any way, i.e. if the power supply cord/plug is
damaged; objects have fallen into it; it has been exposed to rain or moisture; it has been dropped or does
not operate properly.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
• Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.

Improper repairs can pose significant risks to the user and will invalidate any warranty claims.
• Only allow repairs to be carried out by a qualified service centre. Qualified service centre: after-sales
department of the manufacturer or store, which is recognised and authorised to carry out such repairs so
