The unit automatically identifies the type of tape.

Metal position tapes can be used, but the unit will not be able to
record or erase them correctly.

You cannot reco_ on the leader part of the tape. Before recording,
wind the tape past the leader to a point where recording can start
immedi=ely.
I How volume, sound qualHy/fiekl affect recording I
The tape you are recording is not affected whatsoever by changes in
volume, .soundquality/field.
ITo erase a recorded sound ]
1. press [TAPE, DECK 1/2].
2. Insert the recorded tape into deck 2.
3. Press [REV MODE] to select reverse mode.
4. press [e REC/STOP].
• YOU cax'H_t open deck 1 while recording.
• You cannot fast-forward or rewkxI one deck while recording with
the other.

The recording level will be recorded as it is on theqtape being played
Press [TAPE, DECK 1/21 .
] Press [-_ OPEN] on both decks and insert the tapes.
For playback: Into deck t ._
For recording: Into deck 2
Close the holders by hard.
Tape direc_on is automatically set to "D *.
] Press [REV MODE] to select the reverse mode.
Every time you press the button: • .

:One side is recorded, then recording stops
automatically.

then recording stops automatically.
] Press [TAPE EDIT] to start recording.

To stop recording
Press 1111.
Both decks will stop.
To =tart recording on _ reverse side
Load a tape and change the tazpedirection as follows:
1. Press [TAPE, DECK 1/2] and select tape deck 2.
2. Press [<1] and imrnedlately thereafter [11].The tape direction will
be _ as "<3".

Before recording, advance the tape to tbe potht frem where you want
to start recording.
