Controls and indicators
Bass, Treble control
After adjustment is complete, press
the knob in.
Fader control
Balances the sound level of the front
and rear speakers in the case of a
4-speaker system.
FRONT
Tuner ON/OFF switch
(Volume/Balance)
Press to turn the power ON.
VOLUME MAX
BALANCE (PULL)
NR off switch
Press to release the
noise reduction sys-
tems.
Fast forward/re-
wind switches
Irrespective of the
tape travel direc-
tion, each switch
permits fast for-
ward or rewind op-
eration.
Noise reduction
(NR) switches
Select the required
position according
to the noise reduc-
tion system of the
tape to be used.
When this switch is
set to on, the corre-
sponding indica
tor lights.
Program indicator
If the tape is insert-
ed into the cassette
tape slot with Side
A face up, a lit >
indicator indicates
playback of Side A,
and a lit < indicator
indicates playback
of Side B.
