Program steps and data cannot both be stored in any one regis-
ter at the same time. Each data number requires a complete
register (14 characters) for storage, thus for each data number
stored the maximum possible number of program steps is re-
duced by 14.
The remaining two registers (

on each page,
are used for data storage only.
X
keyboard -
this register displays numbers as they are entered
from the keyboard, one digit at a time.
NOTE
lf the calculator is currently running a program,
press STOP to stop the program.
