@ Relay playback operation
Tapes in the two decks (A and B) can be played alternately
and repeatedly.

Set the deck's TIMER switch to OFF.
Press the EJECT key [4] for each deck.
. Insert a cassette tape in each deck and close the cas-
sette holders securely.
. Set the DOLBY NR switch according to the NR mode of
the cassette tapes.
. Set the DIRECTION switch according to the desired play-
back direction.
One-way relay playback..................c00cceeeee =
One side of A deck, B deck is played.
Two-way relay playback ..................ccceeeeeee aD)
Both sides of A deck, B deck are played.
. Press the play |>| or reverse play || key of the deck
desired to be played first.

Press the INDEX SCAN key. The tape is rapidly advanced
while the beginning of each tune is played back for about
10 seconds.
. When the desired tune is found, press the play [>| or
reverse play |<) key according to the direction of tape
travel. Normal playback operation will resume.

. The direction of the index scan is indicated by the direction in-
dicators. To change the direction of index scan, press the play >|
or reverse play <| key, then press the INDEX SCAN key.
. When the DIRECTION switch is set to the reverse mode (=)
or endless mode ((_)), index scan of both sides is carried out.
