8. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
DAILY INSPECTION
Before running the engine, check the following service items.
Enough gasoline
Excessive vibration,noise
Safe surroundings
Enough clean engine oil

PERIODIC INSPECTION
Periodic maintenance is vital to safe and efficient operation of your engine.
Check the table below for periodic maintenance intervals.
It is also necessary for the user of this engine tb conduct the maintenance and
adjustments on the emission-related parts listed below to keep the emission control
system effective.
The emission control system consists of the following parts
(1) Carburetor and internal parts (2) Choke system
(4) Air cleaner elements (5) Intake pipe
(7) Magneio
(8) Fuel hoses, clamps, and sealing gaskets
The maintenance schedule indicated in the following table is based on the normal
engine operation.
Should the engine be operated in extremely dusty condition or in heavier loading
condition, the maintenance intervals must be shortened depending on the contam¬
ination of oil, clogging of filter elements, wear of parts, and so on.
