Receiver
1. Power LED: Indicates Power
2. MODE: DIP switch to select HDBT or Long Reach mode.
-
HDBT: Standard HDBaseT mode, supports 4K60 up to 100m distance.
-
Long Reach: Long Reach HDBaseT mode, supports 4K60 up to 120m distance and FullHD up to
150m
3. SERVICE: USB Micro-B port for firmware updates.
4. DC 24V: Connect the 24VDC 1A PSU to an AC wall outlet and securely connector to the transmitter
or receiver. This is only required at one side of the installation.
5. HDBT IN: Connect a compatible HDBaseT Transmitter using a single Cat.6 or above cable for all data
signals. Please do not connect to a network port.
6. Link Indicator LED:
-
Illuminated Green: Link is Okay
-
Flashing: Link is poor or not stable
-
Not Illuminated: No Link
7. Data Signal Indicator LED:
-
Illuminated Yellow: Signal is with HDCP
-
Flashing: Signal is without HDCP
-
Not Illuminated: No signal
8. HDMI OUT: Connect to a HDMI display.
9. IR IN: Connect the supplied IR Receiver cable for IR signal reception. Ensure the remote being used
is within the direct line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
10. IR OUT: Connect the supplied IR Transmitter Cable for IR signal transmission. Place the IR Transmitter
in direct line-of-sight of the equipment to be controlled.
11. USB 2.0: USB 2.0 Type A ports, connect USB devices such as mouse, keyboard or flash drive. The
maximum output current supported on each USB 2.0 port is 500mA.
Important! Before starting the installation, please ensure that all devices are powered off.
1. Connect an HDMI source device to the Transmitter unit using an HDMI cable.
2. Connect one end of the Cat.6 cable to the HDBaseT Out port on the Transmitter and the other end to
the HDBaseT In port of the Receiver. U/UTP or F/UTP installation cables are recommended. For cable
lengths please see the Specifications of this manual.
3. Use another HDMI cable to connect an HDMI display device to the HDMI output port on the Receiver
unit.
4. Please ensure that all the dip-switches are in the correct position, see above for details.
5. Plug the DC power supply into either the Transmitter or Receiver and switch on.
6. Power on the source device and display to complete the installation.
