    Location of the Webasto provided components, wiring and control devices are important for proper operation. Failure to comply with the installation instructions provided may result in poor operation or damage to the Webasto unit, the vehi- cle, or vehicle components.

    609 of the Clean Air Act and that all refrigerant be reclaimed and recycled. Vehicle operation must not be impaired due to any Webasto installed components. All power circuits must be fused with an appropriate fuse or circuit breaker.

    Oakland Ram ProMaster City General References • Bare body parts, around drilled holes for example, must be treated with an anti-corrosive coating. • Secure hoses, cables and wiring harnesses with cable ties and fit protective hoses around them at chafing points.

Install the Oakland unit in the bracket assembly using two M6 bolts (36) and two flat washers (35). 9. Adjust the position of the Oakland unit and tighten all the fasteners.

  • Page 17 Ram ProMaster City Oakland 13.Drill a 5/8 in (16 mm) hole in the existing rubber grommet in the firewall. Route the main power and ground wires through the grommet. 14.Route the blower motor portion of the harness toward the rear of the vehicle and through the access hole in the floor panel.

  • Page 23 Ram ProMaster City Oakland 23.Unbolt the ECM bracket from the vehicle and set it aside. 24. Remove the stud securing the A/C manifold to the TXV. Set the A/C manifold aside. NOTE: Lubricate the o-rings with PAG oil before assembly. 25.Using the M6 bolt (26), install the T-block assembly (34) between the factory TXV and the A/C manifold.
  • Page 24 Oakland Ram ProMaster City 26. Remove the rubber grommet from the factory wiring harness and install edge trim (37). 27. Route the #6 (28) and the #10 (29) A/C hoses through the hole in the floor and into the engine compartment. 28.
  • Page 25 Ram ProMaster City Oakland NOTE: Use a wrench to hold the Oakland fit- tings. Failure to so can cause damage to the Oakland unit. 29.Using the 45º #10 fitting (23), connect the low-pressure hose to the Oakland unit. NOTE: Use a wrench to hold the T-block fit- tings.
  • Page 26 Oakland Ram ProMaster City 32. Wrap the low-pressure A/C fitting at the Oakland unit with anti-condensation tape (33). 33. Wrap the low-pressure hose in foam insulation (30) to the point where it exits the vehicle. 34. Using provided cable ties (15), p-clips (14, 21) and self-taping screws (13), secure the hoses and wiring harness as required.
