6. Data migration from previous Roon Core

If you were already using the Roon system before acquiring the BBII, in this chapter you will learn
how to transfer data from your previous Roon Core to the Brooklyn Bridge II. This way, the BBII
can become your new host device, and you won't need to configure anything anew.
6.1. At the beginning, you need to make backup of your current Roon Core set up to an exter-
nal USB drive. Detailed instructions on how to do this are provided in the previous paragraph.
Remember to perform these steps while connected to your old Roon Core.
6.2. Connect an external USB storage with backup files to Brooklyn Bridge's USB hub
6.3. Connect your Roon application to the Roon Core in Brooklyn Bridge II. To do this, you must
first disconnect the app from your current Core. Go to the settings menu and in the 'General'
tab, press 'Disconnect' next to your profile.
