Mytek Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core
•
From now on, both devices should be connected. Information about the connection status
can be found near the name of the paired device. This area will also store all the devices that
you have previously connected with.
Currently, the Bluetooth connectivity feature offered by the Brooklyn Bridge II is quite basic, lim-
ited only to streaming music from a bluetooth ready device to the BBII. The music is transmitted
using the AAC codec, which, although better than MP3, still has some lossy sound compression.
In the future, we plan to expand the Bluetooth module to support lossless codecs (e.g., aptX HD,
LDAC) and to implement a bi-directional Bluetooth module, which will also allow for connecting
the streamer to bluetooth headphones and speakers."
