A Backspiash
is available
(see
page 5 for more details).
This backspiash
must be installed
before
the hood shell
because the hood shell covers the backspiash
top mounting
screws. Also, when the range control
panel is higher than
the cooktop,
make sure there is at least 18" (457 mm) clearance
between
the bottom
of hood and the range control
panel. (Refer to instructions
included
with backspiash.)
1. Remove
the
knockout
for
the
choosen
opening
(horizontal
or vertical)
at the back or top of the hood
and for the electric
connection.
YOU MUST install the
Row Deviator
if you choose the vertical
exhaust. See
pictures beside.

2. Using two 1/2" screws, secure the adapter/damper
to
the top or back of the hood.
NOTE:
For vertical
exhaust, make sure that the damper
pivot is located
towards
the front of the hood.

3. Tape the adapter/damper
to the hood using metal foil
duct tape to seal it.
