Description

Intended Use
The SIL coupling relay is used to adjust the power and for electrical
isolation in high- and low-demand applications. The coupling relay
safely interrupts circuits. The device performs a self test the
moment it is switched on and prevents the enable contacts from
being closed in the event of an error. The category 3 device is
designed for installation in zone 2 potentially explosive areas.
Possible signal generators
Failsafe controllers
Contact type
1 undelayed enabling current path
1 digital signal output
1 Start circuit
The enabling current path drops out without delay according
to stop category 0 (EN 60204-1).
