How to change domes
1. Remove the used dome by pulling it off the ribbed
flange and then discard it. This may require a bit of
force.
2. Push the new dome over the ribbed flange on the
thin tube
NOTE: This procedure shows an open dome but it is also applicable if your hearing aid has another type
of dome.
CAUTION: Use only original consumables from the manufacturer (e.g., tubes and domes).
3. Make sure that the new dome is properly and
securely mounted
4. Check that the dome is securely mounted:
Carefully lift the lower part of the dome and verify
that the collar completely covers the ribbed flange
on the tube.
