Selecting a desired ack

mode
1 Press PREV | or NEXT Pl until the -
desired track appears an the display.
2 Press PLAY > io start playback.

* Press and hold 44 or
until the
desired passage fs located.
— The volume will be reduced.

Shuffle janty an remote control}
2: It will play all the available dises and their
tracks in random order. Shuffie may alsa be
used when tracks are programmed,
To shuffle all the dises and tracks
1 Press SHUFFLE.
— "SHUFFLE" will be displayed,
— The SHUFFLE flag, the disc and the
track selected at random appear on
the display.
The discs and the tracks will now be
played in random order until you press
STOP*CLEAR Mi,
If you peess REPEAT during shuffling,
the current track will be played
repeatedly.
— The REPEAT and SHUFFLE flags will
be displayed.
2 Press SHUFFLE again to resume normal
playback,
~+ The SHUFFLE flag disappears from
the display.

Programming Tracks
Programming tracks of a joaded CD is
possibie in the stop mode. The display will
indicate the total tracks stored in the
pragram. Up to 40 tracks can be stosed in
the memory in any order. When 40 tracks
are stared and yau attempt ta stosé-anather
track, the display will show "PPOSRAM
FULL".

Load the desired discs in the disc trays.
2 Press PROGRAM to start programming.
— The PROGRAM fag starts flashing.
Press the CD {CB 1 *2*3) button to
select the disc.
Press PREV |4 or NEXT PI to select
the desired track.
Press PROGRAM to store the track.
Repeat steps 3 ta Sto store other disss
and tracks,
Press STOPeCLEAR Ml once to end
programming mode.
— The total numbez of tracks
programmed and iotal playing time
appear cn the display.

Notes:
:
— If the tota! playing time is more than
99:59"
or if one of the programmed
tracks has a number greater than 30,
then "- ~:~ - "appears in the display
instead of the total playing time.
— Guring prosramming, if no button is
pressed within 20 seconds, the system
will exit program mode automaticaly...

Playing the program
1 Press PLAY » to start program
playback.
> "PLAY PROGRAM" appears an the
display.
— fhe track number and elapsed
playing time of the current track will
appear on the display.
lf you press REPEAT curing program
playback, the current track will be
played repeatedly.
— The AEPEAT and PROGRAM flags will
be displayed.
2 Press STOP*CLEAR
MM to stop
program playback.
Note:
_ if yow press any of the CO DNREGT PLAY
button, the system wil! play the selected
dise or track and the stored pragram will
be ianered temporarily. The PROGRAM
flag vill also temporarily disappear from
the display and then reappear when the
playback for the selected disc ends.

Reviewing the program
Reviewing of the program: is only possible
in the stop mode.
* Press PREV | or NEXT PI repeatedly
fo review the programmed tracks.
* Press STOP*GLEAR s te exit review
mode.
_ Easy Set fonly in Stanaby or
Demonstration mode}
EASY SET allows you to store all available
'radio stations in a particular band (Flv,
MW oF LWW] automatically.
1 Press and hold STANDBYON /ort the
system anfy) far 5 seconds; when the
system is in standby or demanstratian
mode.
~ "EASY SET" will A displayed and
followed by "TUNE
— EASY SET will mat aA the last
active band,
. — Af available radio stations with
sufficient signal strength wilt be
stored or until 4D presets are filled.
The system will search ance again far,
_ the first available ADS station and to set
the RDS time automatically,
© When searching RUS station;
> "SEARTH
PES STATION' will
be displayed. If no RDS station is
available, the program will exit
automatically ang "NG RBS
STAT TON? will be displayed.
— After a station is found, "CP SY
5&7" will be displayed and fallawed
by"T2? Ne",
© Wher searching RDS time;
~"SERRCH RS TIME" will be
displayed.

— When RDS time is read, "PES
TIME" wifl be displayed. The
current time is displayed far 2
seconds and will be stared
automatically,
Notes >
— Wher FASY SET is used, al! previously
stored radia stations will be erased.
Erasing the program {in the stop
mode}
* Prass STOP*CLEAR ME on the system.

— "PROSPAN CLERRE BE" will be
displayed.
Note:
— The program will be erased when the
system fs disconnected from the power
supply. ff tie CD carousel is opened, the
tracks balenging to the outer two trays
will be erased and the display wilf show
TLEAREE".
Repeat foniy on remote control}
:
It will play the current track repeatedly,
' 4 Press REPEAT during CD playback.
— "REPEAT TRACE " will be
displayed.
— The REPEAT flag appears on the
display.
* The track will now be played repeatedly
until you press STOP*CLEAR Ml.
2 Press REPEAT again to resume narmal
playback.
— The REPEAT flag etsagpears from the
display.
— The last preset ragie station or the tirst
available RDS station will appear on the
display when EASY SET is completed.
- Jf RDS station dags not transmit RDS
time within 90 seconds, the program
will exit automatically and the display
will show "NO RPS TINE"
Tuning to radio stations
1 ibe TUNER to select TUNER mode,
> "TUMER" will be displayed.
A few seconds later, the current
irequency will be displayed.
2 Press TUNER (BAND! agaiei to select
the desired waveband : FIM, MW or LAV.
3 Press FUNING <4 or for more than
one serand, then release.
— The display will show 'SEARCH
until a radio station with sufficient
signal strength is found.
Repeat this procedure until the desired
station is reached.
To tune to a weak statian, briefly press
TUNING 44 orb until the display
shows the desired frequency and/or
when the Gest reception has been
obtained.
