6. Press ▲ to search up from the lower
limit, or press ▼ to search down from
the upper limit.
When the scanner stops on a trans¬
mission, press MONITOR to store the
frequency in the current monitor mem¬
ory, or press ▼ or A to continue the
search.
Note: As you store frequencies in monitor memories, the bar under the memory
number indicates the current monitor memory.
Direct Search
When you are listening to a channel, you can search up or down from the current
displayed frequency, -d- appears on the display during a direct search.
1. To select a channel into which you
have programmed a frequency, press
MANUAL and the channel number.

2. Press MANUAL or PROGRAM to enter
the channel number.
