This function lets you recall your usual listening settings by
simply pressing a single button.
The following settings can be memorized:
e Function (CD, TUNER, TAPE, PHONO or VIDEO)
e@ SOUND FIELD CONTROL settings
@ CD disc No., random playback setting
@ Tuner Station No.
1 Select the appropriate settings to be
memorized.
Example: To carry out the DISCO setting and DISC | is
played.
2 Press SMART OPERATION MEMORY.
The display of the various settings to be memorized will
flash.

Press SMART OPERATION START/SET.
SMART OPERATION display flashes on the display for about
2 seconds.
@ Memory recail is also possible when power is off.
@ When the memorized function cannot be played, the
function is switched automatically in the following
sequence: Memory recall > CD + TAPE -» TUNER > CD.
NOTE:
if the AC power cord is unplugged or a power failure occurs,
the memorized settings will be erased.
