Brightness Control

Control Knob
*1: Models with the smart entry system have an ENGINE START/STOP button instead of an
ignition switch.
When the brightness of the meter is reduced,
you can use the brightness control knob to
adjust instrument panel brightness.
Brighten: Turn the knob to the right.
Dim: Turn the knob to the left.
You will hear a beep when the brightness
reaches minimum or maximum. Several
seconds after adjusting the brightness, you
will be returned to the previous screen.
Brightness level indicator
The brightness level is shown on the driver
information interface while you are adjusting
it.

1Brightness Control
Instrument panel brightness varies, depending on
whether the exterior lights are on or off. The
instrument panel dims to reduce glare when they are
on.
Models without auto light switch
When the light switch is in a position other than OFF,
the instrument panel is dimmed to reduce glare.
Models with auto light switch
When the light switch is in a position other than OFF
and it is dark outside, the instrument panel is dimmed
to reduce glare.
The brightness of the instrument panel will be
reduced when:
The ignition switch is in
Models without auto light switch
The parking lights are turned on.
Models with auto light switch
The light switch is in any position other than off
and it is dark outside.
To cancel the reduced instrument panel brightness
when the lights are on, turn the knob to the right
until the brightness display reaches max, at which
point a beeper will sound.
