Troubleshooting Guide
Problem
Some parts of the
soundtrack are missing.
Solution
Output from this unit is in stereo (2 channels) when
V.S.S. is on. Turn V.S.S. off when you have used analog
connection and connected 3 or more speakers. •
The LCD is dark.
The picture is disrupted during Some disruption is normal.

Ensure the settings are appropriate to the speakers you

Some DVD-Audio specify the number of channels to be
played and prohibit down-mixing to 2 channels. If this is
the case, you will hear only part of the soundtrack when
played through this unit's speakers. "Multi-channel"
flashes on the LCD when you start playing such tracks.
Adjust the brightness. _)

Select a picture mode other than "OFF" (no picture). _)
Ensure the power of the connected equipment is on.

The LCD is constructed with precision technology so
99.99 % of the pixels are active, but of the remaining of
0.01%, there are pixels that may be black or emit light
constantly. This phenomenon is not a malfunction.
LCD pixels turn black or
radiate different colors.
The [(_] indicator flashes The unit has malfunctioned. Consult your dealer.
