Pick-up Element Gain Switch
This switch can be used to increase the sensitivity of the CCD
image pick-up element.
When shooting under conditions with weak illumination (less than
approximately 200 lux), set this switch to the "UP" position.
"UP":
Used to increase the brightness of the picture.
"S.T.D": This position is used for normal lighting conditions.

tris Close/Open Adjustment Control
When
a Subject Is backlit
Turn in the "OPEN"
direction.
IRIS
When shooting a backlit subject, be careful that the lens is not
aimed at extremely bright light.
When the picture is too bright
Turn in the "CLOSE" direction.

¢For normal lighting conditions, this control should be set to the
center detent position. (Automatic adjustment)
