5. Press the grind button to start the grind process. The conical burr mill is
set to automatically turn off, once the HomeBarista™ is full.
6. Remove the HomeBarista™ from the holder, making sure there are
no ground coffee beans on the upper rim of the filter basket, before
closing the lid. Open the brew head and place the HomeBarista™ into
the brewing chamber.
Caution: There is a sharp needles in the brew head chamber. To avoid risk
of injury, do not put your fingers in the brewing chamber.
7. When the brew head lever is closed, the brew size buttons will illuminate.
Press the desired cup size to begin brewing.
Note: The brewing process can be stopped during brewing. Simply press
the selected brew size button again to stop brewing.
8. When the brewing process is complete, the brew size buttons will go
off. The grind button will remain on for use, until the brew head lever is
opened, to begin the brewing process.
9. After brewing, raise the lever and remove the HomeBarista™. Do this
with caution, as the HomeBarista™ will be hot.
10. After use, remove the HomeBarista™ from the brewing chamber,
discard the used ground coffee or coffee powder and rinse with water.
When thoroughly dried, the HomeBarista™ can be put into the side
compartment for easy storage.
Note: HomeBarista™ can be used with pre-ground coffee. Simply fill the
HomeBarista™ with ground coffee, making sure not to fill past the max
indicator. Adjust the amount to your personal preference. Make sure there
is no ground coffee on the upper rim of the basket, before closing the lid.
Max fill: 2.5 scoops or 15 grams.
