USING THE CUISINART ONE CUP GRIND
MAKER
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your One Cup Grind & Brew Coffee Maker for the first time,
ensure all packaging is removed and clean all parts thoroughly.
Initial Cleaning
Remove the water tank from the unit and wash in warm, soapy water.

Once dry, fill the water tank with water and replace back onto the unit.
Plug the coffee maker into the mains and press the power button, to
n
switch it on.
Open and close the brew head but do not add any beans or coffee powder.
n
Place a mug onto the drip tray. Press any of the cup size buttons to begin
n
the brew cycle. The selected indicator will start flashing and the hot
water will start to dispense momentarily.
When the one-time cleaning process is complete, discard the hot water
n
and the coffee maker is then ready to use.

a. Power On / Off – Press to switch the machine
on and off.
b. Grind Button – Press to automatically start or
stop grinding coffee, into the HomeBarista®
