This service controls core frequency reduction caused by high package temperatures for
processors that implement the Intel Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) feature. It is required to
be disabled for supporting overclocking at frequencies higher than the default max turbo
frequency.
Intel Thermal Velocity Boost Voltage Optimizations
This service controls thermal based voltage optimizations for processors that
implment the Intel Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) feature.
CPU Tj Max
Set CPU Tj Max to adjust TCC Target Temperature. Default setting is 105°C.
Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology
Enable/Disable Intel Dynamic Platform Thermal Framework.
Dual Tau Boost
Enable Dual Tau Boost feature. This is only applicable for CMLS 35W/65W/125W
skus. This item is only supported with processors with Config TDP support.
