To adjust, use the adjustment key sup-
plied and turn the spring collar accor-
dingly.
Furthermore, the suspension can be
turned to your specific requirement us-
ing the front adjuster blocks.
. . CAUTION: Always turn the feft
. . side adjuster blocks in
a
clock-
wise direction, the right side blocks in a
counter-clockwise direction. Left and
right adjuster blocks of each adjust-
ment must always be set at the same
elevation.
Use the hexagonal wrench
to
perform adjustment.

to Accessory Section.
Track
. L ift the rear of the vehicle and support
It off the grou nd. With the engine off,
rotat~
.the track by hand. and inspect
condition. if worn, cut or track fibers
are exposed or missing or defective in-
serts or guides are
contact your
dealer .

WARNING: Do not operate a

snowmobile with a cut, torn or
damaged track.
Track Tension and Alignment
Lift rear of vehicle and support it with a
stand. Allow the track to extend nor-
mally. Adjust the gap between track
and slider shoe between 10 mm & 13
mm
(3/8"
&
1/2")
when pulling down
on the track with a force of 3 kg (6.5
lbs).

. . CAUTION: Too much or too little
. . tension will result in power loss
and excessive stresses on suspension
components .
If necessary to adjust, loosen the rear
idler wheel retaining screw and then
loosen or tighten the adjuster bolts lo-
cated on the inner side of the rear idler
wheels.
If correct tension IS unat-
tainabie. Contact your dealer.

NOTE: Track tension and align-
ment are inter-related. Do not ad-
one without the other.
Start the engine and accelerate
