• A Desktop or notebook PC with an available USB 2.0 port
• Windows®2000/XP/Vista™/7, Linux, Mac OS 10 or higher
• Power supply for your SATA/eSATA device
• eSATA to SATA cable (for SATA drive), or eSATA to eSATA cable (for
eSATA enclosure)

Hardware Installation

Please ensure that any important data from the SATA or eSATA
device is backed up prior to connecting this adapter.
With the computer powered down:
1. Prepare an eSATA to eSATA or eSATA to SATA cable for your SATA device.
2. Connect the SATA device to one end of the SATA cable. Connect
the other end of the SATA cable to the USB2ESATA eSATA port.
3. Connect the eSATA device to the required power adapter (as
determined by the device), and then turn the power on.
4. Switch on your computer. The operating system should detect
this new device and automatically install the appropriate driver.

Driver Installation

Please note that if you are using this device on a computer running
