DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Regulating the amount to be sown:
Close the shutter completely by turning the
handle clockwise until it stops. Loosen the
butterfly screw and turn the regulating disk
to the wanted sowing rate, e.g. 3,5 and
tighten the butterfly screw again.
Turn the handle anti-clockwise until the
shutter is stopped by the regulating disk.
Please note, it is very important that the
handle is turned from the closed position
anti-clockwise until the shutter is stopped
by the regulating disk, if a uniform opening
is to be achieved.
Now a seed rate test can be made by rota-
ting the roller a number of times and mea-
suring the weight of the seed in the collec-
ting tray provided.
(1 revolution = 1 meter = 0.6 m ).
If need be, correct the shutter opening and
repeat the test.
