Assembly Procedure

Three people will be required for this procedure.
TIP: Read and understand all instructions thoroughly before assembling this unit. Check all items carefully.
If there is damage, see the Customer Service section of this manual for proper procedure to return, replace,
or reorder parts.
Move to desired location
WARNING: Serious injury or death can result if the Smith Press is not removed from the pallet correctly. Use
a minimum of three people when preforming this procedure.
1. Keep all shipping packages near area of installation.
2. Remove foam and shrink wrap securing weight bar to frame.
3. Remove the four Button Head Socket Cap Screws (BHSCS) and locknuts from the shipping brackets securing
the frame halves together using a 7/32" Allen wrench and 9/16" wrench. DO NOTdiscard the BHSCS or locknuts.
4. Remove the four bolts securing the frame to the pallet using a 9/16" wrench.
Assemble frame
1. Hold frames in an upright position with the aid of assistants.
2. Place rubber feet on each foot of the frame.
3. Align front frame mount in place.
4. Secure front frame in place with the four BHSCS and locknuts removed above.
5. Place back frame mount in position.
