Be careful not to insert the cutting element
too deep into the nostrils (max. 15/32
in./12 mm).
3 Move the cutting element in and out of the
nostril in a firm, rotary motion to cut the
hairs to a shorter length (Fig. 19). Make
sure that the cutting teeth touch the hair
by rotating the cutting element inside your
nostril. While rotating you may hold the flat
side of the trimmer against the skin to
reduce any tickling effect that might occur.
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see
'Cleaning').
Tip: You can also trim hairs in the nostrils using
the rotary trimmer (see 'Using the rotary
trimmer').
Trimming neck hair
You can trim your neck hair using the cutting
element of the trimming head.
1 Pull skin taut with one hand and place the
trimmer gently on the skin.
2 Move the cutting element slowly over the
skin against the direction of hair growth
making sure the cutting element is in
complete contact with the skin.
3 Clean the cutting element thoroughly after
each use (see 'Cleaning').
Using the rotary trimmer
The rotary trimmer attachment can also be
used to trim hairs in the nostrils or ears.
1 Attach the rotary trimmer to the product
(see 'Detaching and attaching the
attachments').
2 Gently insert the rotary trimmer into your
nostril or outer ear channel.
Do not insert the trimming head too deep
into your nostrils or ear channels (max.
3/16 in. / 5 mm).
3 When trimming both nose and ear hair,
make firm, rotary movements to ensure
that the trimming head reaches all the
hairs.
4 Clean the attachment thoroughly after
each use.
