Setting ONCE Timer/DAILY Timer
ONCE Timer works only once.
DAILY Timer executes the timer operation at the same time everyday.
1. Press the ONCE or DAILY button which you want to set.
The timer (ONCE or DAILY) indicator (whichever you choose)
blinks on the display.
2. Press the TUNING/TIMER/DIMMER< or > button to set the start time
and the stop time.
Use the TUNING/TIMER/DIMMER < or > button and MEMORY
button just like setting the clock. (See page 32)
3. Press the TUNING/TIMER/DIMMER < or > button to select the source,
and then press the MEMORY button.
Each time you press it the display will cycle from one source to the
next. When the source you want is showing, press the MEMORY
button. The Unit will memorize the setting.
* When FM or AM is selected
You need to select a preset station by using the PRESET < or > button.
« When CD is selected
You can designate the first track to play from the first 10 tracks on the CD.
4. Press the TUNING/TIMER/DIMMER < or > button to set the volume,
then press the MEMORY button.
Each time you press it the display cycles from one volume setting to
the next as the table on the left. When you press the MEMORY
button, the Unit will memorize the setting.
5. Press the ONCE or DAILY button.
The timer indicator you have selected remains lit on the display and shows
you the timer is set.
6. Press the POWER button to turn the Unit off.
If you do not want the timer to operate but want to keep the setting
Press the ONCE or DAILY button so that the ONCE or DAILY
indicator disappears from the display.
To reactivate the timer
Press the ONCE or DAILY button again so that the ONCE or
DAILY indicator lights up.
Note
When the timer-on time comes, the VOLUME control gradually turns up to the set position.
For example, if your set position is VOL-B, the VOLUME control first turns up to and stays
at the VOL-A position briefly, then turns up to the VOL-B position.
