SDP-2 Digital Surround Processor/Controller
The SDP-2 will automatically switch toa Dolby Digital effect whenever AC-
3.encoded material is detected at the input. This allows one input to be used
for different formats. For example, in the factory default state, the V-DISC
input will automatically load the 5.1 Dolby/THX effect when an AC-3
signal is present, and the THX CINEMA effect when a non-AC-3 signal is
present. The default selections for input effect assignmentare shown below.

The SDP-2 remote control is set up for direct access of effects. To reassign
these, first clear by pressing holding ACCY. Press BYPASS then press the
appropriate input button. The Display will show:
EFFECT ASSIGNMENT
CLEARED
Then, press the EFFECT button on the remote to select the effect you want
to assign. Hold down the ACCY button on the remote and press any one of
the eight input buttons. The display will confirm your selection.

ASSIGNED TO ACCY+ KEY
To directly access this effect, simply hold down the ACCY button and press
the corresponding input button.
