Use of the remote control

If the remote control is OFF (Unoccupied mode), several icons will
be present on the display depending on its configurations. Only the
qualified personnel have access to the remote control
configurations.
If no light group is selected, the display is as shown in Fig. 1,
otherwise the configuration is the same as shown in Fig. 2.

Start / Stop
(button C)
Press any button to start the system (Occupied mode); the remote
control sends a message to the unit. Here too, the display
configuration depends on the parameters set in the remote control
menu.
Starting from fig. 1 (no light group selected), the following
configurations are available:
Configuration fig. 3:
Communicating system

Configuration fig. 4
Non-communicating system
Displaying of user-desired
temperature is active

The unit will only emit a "beep", when the signals are received
correctly.
Temperature setting
UP
(button D)
DOWN
(button F)
Setting of the user-desired temperature can be made by means of
the above-mentioned buttons. In the case of a communicating
system (fig. 3), any temperature increase or decrease is
represented on the graphic bar on the left of the display:
Temperature change 0
T.c. +1

off

T.c. +3
T.c. +4
If the desired temperature is increased, the bar's upper section
changes its colour. If temperature decreases, the bar's lower
section changes its colour.
The factory pre-set starting temperature is 22C (72F) and every
time button D or F is pressed the temperature increases or
decreases by half degree. Therefore, according to the pre-set
configurations:
Minimum change when button D or F is pressed: ±0.5C
Minimum desired temperature available: 20C (68F)
Maximum desired temperature available: 24C (75F)
The user is required to give the qualified technicians, during the
system installation, all information necessary for changing the
factory pre-set parameters in order to obtain the desired
temperature range.
In any case, the available temperatures are included in this range
which goes from 15C to 32C (59 to 90F).
Selecting direction of air flow louvre
(button B) for units with motorised
louvre
If available, and after correct configuration of the remote control (as
the unit Cassette 42GW----K), the air flow coming out from the unit
can be adjusted. This is made by pressing button B until the
corresponding menu appears on the display.
The last value that has been selected for the louvers is displayed.
The default value is automatic (Au).
If, after opening this menu, no button is pressed
within 10 seconds, the system quits the menu
and goes back to the previous displaying. The
present louver position flashes on the display
and can be modified by buttons D and F.
The remote control must be directed towards the unit. The settable
values are:
Automatic mode: the NTC control selects the
louver best position
-
6 fixed positions
Swing mode: louvers keep oscillating from the
top downwards for better air distribution
The automatic setting on the display is represented as follows:
The left icon is displayed first and then
cyclically the other two. After the last icon, the
first is displayed and so on.
The louver corresponding to the fixed position
chosen among 6 switches on.
In the Swing (S_) configuration, one single
louver swings from the bottom upwards and
then downwards again.
