    6. Preparing for fi rst use 6.1. Power supply NOTICE! Risk of damage! There is a risk of causing damage to the device by using unauthorised accessories.  Only ever use the mains adapter supplied with the tablet PC. Your tablet PC comes with a universal mains adapter. The following range is supported: AC 100–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz alternating current For more information on this, refer to section “2.2.

    The battery will automatically be charged whenever the mains adapter is connected regardless of whether the tablet PC is switched on or off. If the tablet PC is switched on, it will take much longer to charge the battery. 6.3. Inserting the SIM card Your tablet PC features a micro SIM card slot for mobile data transfer via the mobile phone network.

    7. Operation 7.1. Switching on the tablet PC  Press and hold the On/Off button until the display lights up. 7.2. Operating the tablet PC Use your fingertips to operate the tablet PC. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects.

     Enable Bluetooth on the Bluetooth-enabled device you want to connect to.  Open the SETTINGS app.  Open the menu to manage connected devices.  Tap to pair a new device. This automatically activates the Bluetooth function on your tablet PC. Your tablet PC can now be found by other Bluetooth-enabled devices and you will see a list of all of the available Bluetooth-enabled devices near you.

    10.1. Inserting a micro SD memory card  Push the micro SD memory card into the micro SD card slot with the contacts facing the display until it clicks into place (see Fig.). 10.2.     11. Protective case and Bluetooth® keyboard A protective case and Bluetooth® keyboard are included with your Lifetab. There are a number of points to bear in mind when setting up and using the device. These are described in the following sections. 11.1.

Physically connecting the keyboard and tablet PC On the underside of the protective case there is a slot for physically connecting the tablet PC to the Bluetooth® keyboard.  Slide the tablet PC inserted in the protective case sideways onto the connecting track of the Bluetooth keyboard so that the tablet PC is positioned centrally on the connection (see Fig.).
