UV-C Lamps - cleaning and/or
replacement
The hood is equipped with UV-C Lamps. They are
located inside a central technical compartment,
behind the Labyrinth Filter, in front of the hood.
Periodic cleaning or restore are recommended. A
pop-up window appears automatically on the oven
display when cleaning or replacement is required.
1.
Remove the labyrinth filters, starting from the
middle one, raising and pulling the lower part
outwards (see F.2.1);
2.
Open the central technical compartment by
undoing the screws fixing the cover;
3.
Loosen the screws, move up the retaining plate;
4.
Remove four electrical connectors (pay attention
the right position for further refit);
5.
Remove the cassette that contain TiO2 Filter
and UVC lamps;
6.
Remove TiO2 Filter from cassette (see F.2.4);
Wear a cotton gloves to don't touch directly the

glass, this will help maximize lamp life;
8.
Remove the UV-C Lamps from cassette one by
one;
9.
Clean UV-C lamps one by one with a dry cotton
cloth; only in a very dirty case, you can use a
paper towel little soaked with alcohol only;
In any case, pay attention don't damage the
external glass and the electrical connectors;
10. Refit it one by one on their previous cassette's
place;
11. Refit TiO2 Filter on cassette;
12. Refit the UV-C lamps and TiO2 cassette in its
place. Make sure to refit it properly;
13. Move down the retaining plate and tighten the
screws,
14. Refit the four electrical connectors on previous
place;
15. Fixing the cover central technical compartment
by the screws;
16. Refit the labyrinth filters. Follow the operating
instructions in the chap F.2.1. Make sure to refit
them properly;
17. Reset timer of maintenance following chapter
F.3.
To replace the UV-C Lamps, follow previus
operations except the one described at point nr.9.
