Description
Congratulations on your purchase of the Mitel Integrated DECT Headset! The
Mitel Integrated DECT Headset is a professional wireless headset designed for
maximum performance.
The Mitel Integrated DECT Headset:
• Is simple to set up and features intuitive call control functions for rapid
user adoption.
• Puts the freedom and convenience of wireless communication in
everyone's reach.
• Is compatible with Mitel SIP 6930 and 6940 IP phones.
• Is compatible with the Mitel M695 Programmable Key Module (PKM),
supporting up to three modules connected to your 6930 or 6940 IP
phone.
NOTE: Before connecting the Mitel Integrated Headset to Mitel SIP 6930 and
6940 IP Phones, ensure to disconnect (unpair) other headsets.

Supporting documentation
To access phone and system-specific documentation:
1. Log in to Mitel MiAccess (formerly Mitel Connect).
2. In left-hand menu, click eDocs.
3. Select PDF Guides and Online Help under the End User Documents
drop-down menu.
4. In the left-hand menu, navigate to SIP Phones and then click 6900 Series
SIP Phone.
Attaching the base to Mitel SIP 6930 or 6940 IP Phone or
Mitel M695 Programmable Key Module (See Figure
To attach the Mitel Integrated DECT Headset base to your Mitel MiVoice 6930
or 6940 IP phone:
1. Unplug power from the phone.
2. Attach the base to the back of the phone.
NOTE: Before detaching the base from the phone, ensure to unplug the phone.
3. Insert the screw and tighten it using a screwdriver.
To attach the Mitel Integrated DECT Headset to the Mitel M695 PKM:
NOTE: When connecting the Mitel Integrated DECT Headset to the Mitel SIP
6930 or 6940 IP phone with Mitel M695 PKM (up to three modules), ensure to
power the Mitel SIP 6930 or 6940 IP phone with a IEEE 802.3at compliant
PoE L2 Switch, IEEE 802.2at Inline Power Injector, or an AC to DC Adapter.
1. Ensure that the Mitel M695 PKM and the phone are switched off.
2. On the base, loosen the screws using a screwdriver and slide the attach-
ment to the left. Re-tighten the screws.

3. Attach the Mitel M695 PKM to the Mitel SIP 6930 or 6940 IP phone. Refer
to the Mitel M695 Programmable Key Module Installation Guide.
4. Attach the base to the back of the Mitel M695 PKM.
