    The ND4 filter gives the effect of stopping the lens down by two stops. Caution: The thickness of the glass used in the Nikon filters usable with your lens is carefully matched to the optical properties of the lens. So, do not use 39mm-diameter filters of any other make but Nikon.

Pour les verres utilises avec des boitiers Nikon autres que F3 et F2 serie, se referer a la colonne sur les boitiers deserie F3. Pour les verres de visee K2, B2 et E2 se referer aux colonnes sur les verres K, B et E respectivement.

    Attention: L'epaisseur du verre utilise pour les filtres Nikon utilisables avec votre objectif est soigneusement adaptee aux proprietes optiques de votre objectif. Aussi, n'utilisez pas de filtres de 39mm de diametre autres que Nikon. Sinon la mise au point ne pourra pas etre correcte.
  • Page 19 CONTROLE DE L'OUVERTURE Pour obtenir une ouverture plus petite pour le Reflex-Nikkor 500mm f/8 a ouverture fixe, utilisez un filtre a densite neutre (ND). Si vous utilisez le filtre ND avec l'exposi- tion 4X de l'objectif, vous pouvez realiser l'effet de diaphragmer l'objectif a f/16.
