Problem
The dishwasher does not start.
The dishes are not clean.

Possible causes
The door lock does not click in-
to place and lock.

Check whether the Delayed
start option has been selected.

Incorrect detergent dosage.
Action
Check that the dishes are not
blocking the baskets from slid-
ing properly into place.
Check the door lock. If it does
not click into place and lock,
open the door.
Press and hold
Auto Dry until
the display starts counting
down. Wait until the countdown
ends (60 seconds). Close the
door. Check that the door lock
clicks into place and locks.
Press
. The display starts
counting down.
Check.
Close the door and wait. After
a while, the dishwasher contin-
ues the program.
Check the door lock. If it does
not click into place and lock,
open the door.
Press and hold
Auto Dry until
the display starts counting
down. Wait until the countdown
ends (60 seconds). Close the
door. Check that the door lock
clicks into place and locks.
Press and hold
for three
seconds if you want to cancel
the Delayed start option.

Check that the dishes are not
blocking the spray arms.
Clean the spray arms. See the
chapter Care and cleaning.
Select a program with a high
temperature to dissolve grease
on very dirty dishes, such as In-
tensive 70°.
Dose according to water hard-
ness. Far too much or far too
little detergent results in poorer
dishwashing results.
