9. Data Input

9.1. Keyboard

The double assignment of certain keys means that the range of functions available
to you is the same as on a conventional Windows keyboard. Some functions are
entered using the Fn key (standard on most Notebooks).
9.1.1. Specific Keyboard Shortcuts

Sleep
Fn + F1
To configure these keys to suit your requirements, please go
to Power Options.
Flight mode
Fn + F2
Switches the flight mode on or off.
ECO Function
Fn + F4
By using this key combination you open the menu of the
ECO function.
Brightness down
Fn + F5
Reduces the brightness of the display.
Brightness up
Fn + F6
Increases the brightness of the display.
Background Lighting
Turns off background lighting for the integrated display
Fn + F7
to save power. The lighting is turned back on by pressing
Fn+F7 again.
Display
Fn + F8
Switches the screen display between LCD, external display
and duplicate display.
Touchpad
Fn + F9
Switches the touchpad on and off.
Mute
Fn + F10
Switches the sound on or off.
Volume down
Fn + F11
Decreases the playback volume.
Volume up
Fn + F12
Increases the playback volume.
