Bread-baking stone

Before you can use your new appliance, you must

Initial use

After connecting the appliance to the power or following
a power cut, the settings for initial use are shown in the
display.

Before using for the first time

Cleaning the cooking compartment and
accessories
Before using the appliance to prepare food for the first
time, you must clean the cooking compartment and
accessories.
Cleaning the cooking compartment
To remove the new-appliance smell, heat up the
cooking compartment when empty and with the oven
door closed.
Make sure that the cooking compartment does not
contain any leftover packaging, such as polystyrene
pellets. Before heating the appliance, wipe the smooth
surfaces in the cooking compartment with a soft, wet
cloth. Keep the kitchen ventilated while the appliance is
heating.
Apply the settings indicated.

Switch off the appliance after the cooking time indicated

and a dish cloth or soft brush.

1Operating the appliance

switch the appliance on and off, and how to select the
operating mode.

Switching the appliance on and off

Before you are able to set the appliance, you must
switch it on.
Exception: The childproof lock and the timer can be set
when the appliance is switched off.
Displays or information, e.g the residual heat indicator
in the cooking compartment, remain visible in the
display after the appliance has been switched off.
Switch off your appliance when you do not need to use
it. If no settings are applied for a long time, the
appliance switches itself off automatically.
