Oregon Scientific CIR100 - Smart Clock With Internet Radio Quick Start

OVERVIEW

DOWNLOAD THE APP

Download below two apps on your smart device. These apps are available on both Apple App Store and Google Play.

Search
"Oregon Scientific Smart Living" and "Oregon Scientific Smart Radio" to find the app.

GETTING STARTED

1. Insert 3 x AA batteries for back-up usage and then connect the main unit to the power supply.
2. Tap the app icon to open, then select CIR100 smart connected clock with internet radio. Follow the screen instructions to connect the Wi-Fi network. The will flash and display steady when successfully connected.

Using Bluetooth connection

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your smart device.
2. Press on the clock to enter the pairing mode. The Bluetooth icon will flash and display steady when successfully paired.
3. Open the Bluetooth pairing list on your smart device and select to connect CIR100.
4. You will be able to stream music and use the speaker phone function.

NOTE

• Bluetooth wireless technology operates within 10 meters (33 ft) range and varies if there are physical obstacles, such as a thick wall in between your smart device and CIR100.

CLOCK TIME

This unit will automatically synchronize the clock with the cloud (server) via Wi-Fi.

ALARM FUNCTION

Set the alarm with our dedicated app. The alarm will sound in beep or radio sound. When the alarm is set or standby, the alarm icon will show on the display.

Snooze function

• To use the snooze function, press on the clock when the alarm sounds. The alarm will stop and start again after 8 minutes.

Activating/deactivating the alarm

• Press and hold for 3 seconds to stop the alarm. The alarm will reactivate the following day unless deactivated.

INTERNET RADIO

The unit can support internet radio function. The "oregon Scientific Smart Living" app will redirect you to go into our "Oregon Scientific Smart Radio" app to set the favorite Internet radio channels and manage different control functions.

1. Press to turn on internet radio function. The unit will broadcast the last channel you listened to on the clock.
2. Press repeatedly to set the Internet radio sleep timer duration: 15, 30, 60 and 90 minutes.
3. Press and to change to your favorite channel 1-10.
4. Press and to control sound volume.
5. Press again to turn off the internet radio function.

NOTE Press to turn off the Bluetooth ( disappears) when listen to the Internet radio.

BLUETOOTH MUSIC STREAMING

When the device is connected wirelessly via Bluetooth, the clock can support music streaming on your smart device.

• Press and to control sound volume.
• Press and hold for 3 seconds to play/pause music.
• Press and to next/ previous song.

SPEAKER PHONE CALL

When the device is connected wirelessly via Bluetooth, the clock can support speaker phone function.
When answering an incoming call,

• Press to accept the call and press again to end the call.
• Press and hold for 3 seconds to reject incoming call.

NOTE

• When using Bluetooth music streaming and speaker phone function, ensure Bluetooth connection is turned on. Press on the clock to turn on Bluetooth, icon appears on the clock display.
• Turn off Bluetooth function when you are not using Bluetooth music streaming/ speaker phone function for power saving consumption. Press again to turn off Bluetooth, the icon will disappear from the clock display.

CHANGE DISPLAY MODE

The unit can support different display details:

1. Press to toggle to a different display page on the unit. (e.g. Clock display, Weather forecast display, etc.)
2. Press and to toggle display detail for specific page.

Voice message

Press to listen to the voice message.
NOTE
The message will delete once it was read on device. You can still open our dedicated app to read more message history if necessary.

CALENDAR AND ANNIVERSARY REMINDER

Set the calendar and anniversary reminders on the app. The text reminders will show on the LCD display automatically on that date.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not subject the device to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature or humidity.
• Do not immerse the device in water. If you spill liquid over it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not clean the device with abrasive or corrosive materials.
• Do not tamper with the device's internal components. Doing so invalidates the warranty.
• Images shown in this manual may differ from the actual display.
• When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected separately for special treatment.
