Basic operation

As a Bluetooth Transmitter

Bluetooth Pairing & Connection

1. From off, slide TX/RX switch to TX position. Then turn on TC026 – press and hold MFB button for 3 seconds.
   
2. Enter PAIRING MODE – double click MFB, the LED flashes BLUE very quickly.
   
3. Set your Bluetooth headphones/receiver to *PAIRING MODE*
   
4. Keep the devices close and wait for 5~30 seconds. Once connected, the LED on TC026 will stay BLUE.

PAIRING MODE: Discoverable mode for Bluetooth device, normally the LED flashes very quickly constantly or flashes two colors alternately.

Connect to two Bluetooth headphones/speakers simultaneously

1. Connect to your first device as above. Then turn off the first device and TC026.
2. Set second device to PAIRING MODE.
3. Set TC026 to PAIRING MODE again – Turn on, then double click MFB. The LED flashes BLUE very quickly.
4. Keep the devices close and wait for 5~30 seconds. Once connected, the LED on TC026 will stay BLUE. Then turn off TC026 again.
5. Turn on the first device and TC026 again, wait for 5~30 seconds, TC026 will automatically connect to two devices.
   

Note: If TC026 can't re-connect to two devices, please try to turn it off and on again.

Connect TC026 to TV or other audio source

Connect TC026 to your TV or other analog audio source via 3.5mm audio cable. Then TC026 is ready for use now.

Note: If no sound from headphones after connection, please use a wired earphones to test if you can heard the sound from the audio jack on TV or audio source.

As a Bluetooth Receiver

Bluetooth Pairing & Connection

1. From off, slide TX/RX switch to RX position.
   
2. Turn on TC026 – press and hold MFB button for 3 seconds.
   
3. Enter PAIRING MODE – double click MFB, the LED flashes BLUE and RED alternately.
   
4. Activate Bluetooth on your phone/tablet, search & select "Avantree TC026" to connect. Once connected, the LED on TC026 will stay BLUE.
5. Connect TC026 to your wired headphone/speaker system via 3.5mm audio cable. Then you can wireless streaming music now.

Connect to two phones/tablets simultaneously

1. Connect the first phone as above.
2. Set TC026 to PAIRING MODE again – double click MFB, the LED flashes BLUE and RED alternately.
3. Activate Bluetooth on your second phone/tablet, search and select "Avantree TC026" to connect.
4. Turn off TC026 and turn on again. It will automatically connect to two devices simultaneously.

LED indications

Charging

When the LED flashes RED, you should recharge the device. It normally takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery. The LED will stay RED when charging and will turn off when charging is complete.

Charging Requirement
You can connect TC026 via the supplied micro USB cable to your own USB chargers (wall charger/travel charger/car charger, etc.) with 5V/500mA-1A or PC USB port. It's ok to use most mobile phone chargers on the market.
Note: We suggest you fully charge the device at least every two months.

Important Notices & FAQ

AptX Low Latency

TC026 just support aptX low latency in TX mode. In this mode, if you still experiencing audio delay, it is most likely due to your headphones/receiver without Low Latency Support.
Due to aptX technology limitation, aptX Low Latency codec does NOT support under dual link.

Reconnect

Once powered on, TC026 will reconnect with the last connected device automatically within 5 seconds. If not, you may press MFB once to stimulate the process.

Auto power off

Once disconnected over 5 minutes, TC0026 will automatically power itself off.

How to erase the previous pairing history?

1. Turn Off TC026.
2. After 3 seconds, slide the TX/RX switch to other side. Then power on.

What is the PIN code?

If a PIN code is required for pairing, try 0000 (four zeroes), 8888 (four eights), 1111 (four ones), or 1234.

Can I use TC026 while charging?

Yes, you can. But it will automatically turn itself off when charging. Please turn TC026 on again, it will automatically reconnect to the last device.
Note: The USB outputs of some TVs or laptops are unstable. When used while charging, we suggest you connect to a wall charger instead of a USB port.
