The Ranger and Ranger Pro headlamp is equipped with Intelligent Light® which is a light distribution technology that combines a wide angle flood light with a long reach spot light.
This unique light image gives the user peripheral and long distance vision at the same time.
On top of the headlamp there is a push button which controls the different light modes.
Each press on the button gives you the following light:
Light modes: Red, Max, Mid, Min, Blink, Red blink
Short press – starts the headlamp in Red mode
Next short press – goes to Max mode
Next short press – goes to Mid mode
Next short press – goes to Min mode
Next short press – goes to White blink mode
Next short press – goes to Red blink mode
Next short press – back to Max mode
Long press (more than two seconds) – turns the headlamp off.
Light modes: Max, Mid, Min, Blink
Short press – starts the headlamp in Max mode
Next short press – goes to Mid mode
Next short press – goes to Min mode
Next short press – goes to White blink mode
Next short press – back to Max mode
Long press (more than two seconds) – turns the headlamp off.
To insert the battery, open the right hand side battery lid by rotating it anticlockwise and pull gently. Insert the battery. Please note the battery polarity. The battery Plus connector should connect to the battery lid. Battery lid connector plate is indicated with a Plus-sign.
The helmet attachment comes with pre mounted adhesive on the back for easy mounting on any helmet. The adhesive is a polyethylene foam tape developed to not damage or cause any type of weakness to plastic.
Before mounting the helmet bracket on a helmet, make sure the surface is dry and clean. Remove the protective paper from the adhesive tape. Gently press the helmet bracket to the helmet. Remove the headband from the headlamp and place the headlamp onto the helmet bracket.
To make sure you get maximum performance from your Ranger headlamp, clean it regularly with a wet cloth to ensure that the product is free from dirt.
Headband cleaning – rinse in warm water.
Headlamp, batteries and packaging should be recycled and must not be thrown in the regular trash. Dispose these items in accordance with applicable local regulations.
