Bin Full System

A Snap Action Switch on the PCB activated by a mechanical flap monitors the contents of the
waste bin.

The motor will stop and the bin full icon will illuminate when the actuator engages the
switch. This will indicate that the waste bin is full, and the shredder will not operate until the
waste bin is emptied.
The bin full flap is located on the under side of the cutting head. It is integrated into the
cutting block assembly therefore it cannot be removed without taking the cutting block
apart.
The bin full switch is hard-wired to the PCB. If the bin full switch fails the PCB must be
replaced.
