Programming the recipe function / change the volume:
Follow below steps to check or change the coffee recipe function or adapt the volume per button:
Service step 1 Enter service mode
1. Keep the 1-cup and 2-cup button pressed while connecting the mains voltage to the appliance.
2. The buttons can be released.
Service-step 2 Adjust recipe 1 (1-cup button)
1. Service step 2a can be used to change the functionality of the button.
2. Service step 2b and 2c can be used to adjust the pump time.
3. Use service step 2d to store the new settings.
Service-step 2a Change functionality recipe 1
1. Press and release the jug button to change the functionality of recipe 1:
- 1-cup LED on: SENSEO brew a fixed volume
- 2-cup LED on: SENSEO brew a fixed volume, "Intensity select" function is enabled
- Jug LED
on: Jug setting
Service-step 2b Decrease pump time recipe 1
1. Press and release the 1 cup button to decrease the pump time (volume -3.5 ml).
2. The LED turns off for 500 ms.
Service-step 2c Increase pump time recipe 1
1. Press and release the 2 cup/MUG button to increase the pump time (volume +3.5 ml).
2. The LED turns off for 500 ms.
Service-step 2d Store new settings for recipe 1
1. Press and release the 1 cup and 2 cup/MUG button to store the settings of recipe 1.
2. The LED will blink fast for 1 second.
3. Proceed at step 3.
