Odour prevention
Sometimes unpleasant odours may be emitted if foods are stored incorrectly and the interior surfaces of
the refrigerator are not cleaned regularly.
It is important to keep the refrigerator clean. Food residues, liquid spills, etc. can produce undesirable
odours. The refrigerator should therefore be cleaned every 15 days with a water and sodium bicarbonate
solution. Never use detergents or soap.
Keep food in sealed containers. Microorganisms found in uncovered containers can produce undesirable
odours. Never store food beyond its expiry date or spoiled foods.
Automatic defrost
This appliance features automatic defrost, with no manual operations required.
Changing the refrigerator interior light bulb
CAUTION: Always disconnect power from the appliance before carrying out any
maintenance operations.
WARNING: The light bulbs must be replaced by the manufacturer, by its technical
assistance service, or by a specialised technician.
WARNING: When handling the light bulbs, hold them with a cloth or wear gloves to avoid
transferring perspiration to the glass, which can led to premature failure of the bulb.
WARNING: When changing a light bulb, make sure the new bulb's power rating (or
consumption) is no higher than that of the original bulb.
The bulbs are LEDs, for low energy consumption and long life refrigerator interior lighting. In case of
anomalous operation or faults, get in touch with the technical assistance service.
