  • Page 56 Table4 Recommended separation distances between portable and mobile RF communications equipment and this Wireless Detector This Wireless Detector is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of this Wireless Detector can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment (transmitters) and this Wireless Detector as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the communications equipment.
  • Page 57 RF exposure compliance The available scientific evidence does not show that any health problems are associated with using low power wireless devices. There is no proof, however, that these low power wireless devices are absolutely safe. Low power wireless devices emit low levels radio frequency energy (RF) in the microwave range while being used. Whereas high levels of RF can produce health effects (by heating tissue), exposure of low-level RF that does not produce heating effects causes no known adverse health effects.
