Operating Instructions
NOTE:Whenusingtheheaterforthefirsttime,youmaynoticeaslight
emissionofsmoke.Thisisnormalandwillstopafterashorttime.
Theheatingelementismadeofsteelandwascoatedwithalayerof
protectiveoilduringproduction.
1.
Withtheheaterproperlyinstalledandthepowersuppliedtothe
unit,presspowerbuttontothe"ON"position.
2. Setthethermostatdialtothemaximumtemperature.
3. Oncetheroomreachesthedesiredtemperature,turnthe
thermostatdialbackuntiltheheatingelementturnsoff.Theheater
willcycleautomaticallyaroundthispresenttemperature.
4. Toincreasetemperature,turnthethermostatknobclockwise.To
lowertemperature,turnthethermostatcounterclockwise.Thereis
alsoafanonlyoption.
NOTE:Usageonoutletsabove220voltsmaycauseaslightwhistling
soundduetothehigherfanspeed.Thisresultsfromthevoltagesupply.
Thisisnormalandisnotaffectingtheoperationoftheheater.Thisisnot
adefect.
To Stop Heating
1. Rotatethethermostatknobtothelowestposition.
2. Presspowerbuttontothe"OFF"position.
Automatic Overheat Safety Control
•
Thisheaterisequippedwithandinternalheatlimiting
thermostatandoverheatprotectioncircuit.Whena
potentialoverheattemperatureisreached,thesystemwill
automaticallyshuttheheateroff.
•
IF SAFETY LIMIT LIGHT ILLUMINATESanabnormal
conditionhasturnedofftheheatingelements.TO RESET,
WAIT 10 MINUTEStoallowtheheatertocooldown.The
heaterwillautomaticallyresetoncetheheatingelementcools
down.

Electrical outlet wiring must comply with local building
codes and other applicable regulations to redue the risk of
fire, electrical shock and injury to persons.
