7. PROBLEM SOLVING
In the event of a serious problem, the user should consult the appropriate service centre for repair and overhaul of the machine.
This troubleshooting guide is intended to save you from travelling to your service centre for things that are easily solved.
Cylinder rod does not move
Slow speed of the cylinder shaft when extending or retracting
Wood does not break or breaks extremely slowly
Engine stalls during splitting
Engine stalls at low load conditions
Posible cause
A- Insufficient oil to pump
B- Air in oil
C- Excessive pump inlet vacuum
D- Hydraulic hoses blocked
E- Control valve blocked
F- Low control valve setting
G- Control valve high setting
H- Control valve damaged
I- Internal leakage of the control valve control valve
J- Internal cylinder leakage
K- Cylinder internally damaged
L- Out of adjustment engine control
M- Engine charging during idle mode
