The HECHT Petrol-driven Motor Pump is designed for private use around the house and garden and is not intended for operating watering equipment or irrigation systems in public gardens.

• Turn tool off completely before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing petrol tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the petrol tool accidentally. • Store idle petrol tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the petrol tool or these instructions to operate the petrol tool.

Use commercially available suction hose, hose connector, and hose bands. Suction hose length should not be longer than necessary, as pump performance is best when the pump is not far above the water level. Self-priming time is also proportional to hose length. The strainer that is provided with the pump should be attached to the end of the suction hose with a band.
